Free Soul Ad Campaign Fall/Winter 2009/10 - NOT HOT

Sometimes I simply don't get it.

There's a fashion brand, they decide to shoot a campaign, they hire all the right people (models, photographer, stylists, assistants etc), and while in the studio they have to feed them sushi.

They have to work really hard all day, make sure the dress is impeccable, the flowers are fresh, the male model doesn't end up looking like a bartender and then the next day they have to retouch everything what they worked for so hard, so that it looks somewhat decent, and on top of that they pay for everything.

One would think - you might as well want to take something OUT of it, right?

Like... identity. Or... sales (sounds stupid I know). Or at least have people talking, in a good way.

Well, I don't see it happening here.

What's the message of that particular image?

She want's it? She doesn't? Are they done? Or about to start?

There's too much light for intimacy in this and not enough vulgarity for porn.

And who are these people? Cause he looks like a bartender and she reminds of a typical model bored out of her life on a Friday night out in the city.

My personal guess: She's a daughter of a super wealthy industrialist and while her uglier sister is getting married in the room full of people next door she snatched one of the servers to forget about her miserable, lonely life that nobody really gives a f*** about, her daddy included, since he saw her home made nude video that leaked on the Internet a few days ago.

Well done, Free Soul.
