New Major Upgrades to The Blue Room!!

Hi everyone, I just wanted to keep you all posted on the MAJOR upgrades that are taking place in the Blue Room!! To start off, I just ordered 32 new panels of Auralex (a high end acoustical foam) and Rel, James, and I will be taking a day over Thanksgiving to acoustically touch up the room and vocal booth! Also, our most major upgrade will be the Black Lion Audio Signature Series modification to the protools rack. This mod will completely replace stock protools converters, clock, pre amps, and power source! This modification will have our protools rig sounding like a high end mastering suite and even better we you will be recording at a higher quality than a protools 192 HD interface!! Your vocals will be much cleaner and you will get a more realistic tone out of the 1272 mic pre. Especially - better definition on the highs and less mud on the lows! This upgrade alone will make our room unique and put us on par or better with many of the bigger rooms in town. Also, as I am typing, I am installing the protools toolkit. This kit upgrades our track count to 64 tracks mono or stereo as well as adds multiple new plug ins including the Smack plug in (a $400 mastering/compression plug in). On top of that, I am installing the mellowmuse plug in in order to correct any unwanted latency in any of our plug ins!
